Assemblywoman Berg endorses Gallegos for DA

Democratic Assemblywoman Patty Berg recently announced she is endorsing Humboldt County District Attorney Paul Gallegos in his run for re-election.
“Paul deserves a second term and I’m pleased to give him my endorsement,” Berg said in a news release. “I think the voters are going to look at his record and they’re going to keep him in office. The voters were right when they elected Paul Gallegos. They were right when they rejected the recall. And they’ll be doing the right thing in June when they vote for his re-election. Humboldt County is fortunate to have such a strong leader in the District Attorney’s Office.”
Humboldt County Deputy District Attorney Worth Dikeman, who is also a Democrat, is running against Gallegos.
