Animal abuse linked to serial killings, needs to be addressed
10/16/2006

Dear Editor,

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated.”— Gandhi

And, of course, I need not remind you, based on FBI profiling, of the relationship between animal abuse and serial killings. This is a serious issue! Please reconsider felony charges against the parties involved.

ADLF: “Gallegos is standing by his previous decisions not to prosecute, although he has been quoted as saying that he would re-evaluate the 2004 case. As of Sept. 22, he has declined to state when he will reconsider the charge, and has also declined to answer questions of any kind from the reporter who initially requested the review. To urge him to file the felony charge against Bugenig for the alleged neglect against the blind horse, and generally take animal cruelty cases more seriously.”

Thank you for your thoughtful reconsideration and God bless. Please keep me apprised.
