TS Jury makes three recommendations after inquest 09/15/2006

EUREKA - The jury for the coroner's inquest into the police shooting death of Cheri Lyn Moore came back with three recommendations Thursday after about three hours of deliberation.

The jury stated that they were “grieving” along with the community about Moore's death and recommended that mental health personnel be more involved in police activities when needed, that police officers receive more mental health training and that there are continuing improvements in effective communication. All 11 jurors signed the form.
