Attorney General receives Salzman case report

The California Office of the Attorney General confirmed Thursday that it received the report from the Trinidad Police Department regarding the investigation into alleged criminal conduct by political figure Richard Salzman.
Salzman is under investigation for allegedly using false names in letters to editors of local papers, which is a misdemeanor.
Nathan Barankin, director of communication for the Attorney General’s Office, is handling the case, which is under review.
